Purpose

This Activeboard generates a high-level service status overview by displaying the most relevant Exchange metrics, both from a performance and an operational standpoint. It extracts valuable information such as service use over time, volumes of data processing, or the average size of messages amongst others, not only to evaluate the current throughput of the service but also to analyze seasonality and trends.

Pre-requisites

To use Office 365 Exchange Statistics Activeboard, you must have the following data sources available in your domain:

Open Office 365 Exchange Statistics

Once you have installed the Activeboard, you can access it in the following ways:

Go to Exchange in the navigation pane and look for the Activeboard you want to open. Click Open.

Go to Activeboards in the navigation paneand use the filter to open the Activeboard you downloaded.

Exploring the Activeboard

When opening the Office 365 Exchange Statistics Activeboard the following widgets with this info display:

  • Total Messages

  • Distinct Recipient Domains

  • Distinct Sending domains

  • Total Bytes Transmitted

  • Average Message Size

  • Messages

  • Top Recipient Domains

  • Top Sending Domains

  • Top Recipients

  • Top Senders
