With the Flow Manager, you can quickly and easily manage each individual Flow, including:

What you will see in this view is permissions dependent

A user with domain rights will see all the Flows in the domain, whereas as user with rights only on their own Flows will see only Flows created by them.

Opening the Flow manager

If you are accessing Flow for the first time, you will be directed to the welcome page, where you can find a direct access link.

If you already have a Flow open, click the Manager button in the top left of the Flow area:

The Flow Manager will open in a new window.

If you wish to go back to the previous window, simply select the Back to welcome button at the top.

Working with the Flow manager

The Flow manager provides various management and review options, consisting of two tabs: Flows and templates.

  1. Use the Search box and Filter options to narrow down the results.

  2. The Status column shows the current status of each of the Flows in your domain. To learn more about what each status means, go to the section on Flow Statuses.

  3. The Type column shows whether your selection is an Instance or a Flow.

  4. The main area of the table contains additional information on each Flow, including the creation and modification dates, the creator and the last person to edit.

  5. In the right area, you have various quick access buttons to manage each Flow, such as starting, deleting, cloning, and more. See the section below for details.

Managing a Flow

From the Flow Management view, you can use the quick access options on the right to carry out actions directly on that Flow.

Each button will open the Flow with the action automatically executed:

Start/Stop

or

This will either start or stop the Flow, depending on the current status.

Load in a new tab

This opens the Flow in a new tab, allowing you to keep the Flow Management view open in a different tab.

More options

Remove

You can delete a Flow directly from this view using the remove button.

Clone

Use this feature to clone the selected Flow.

A new window will appear, where you can assign a new name for the cloned Flow.

Click Apply and the new Flow will appear. You can now make modifications to this Flow without changing the original.

Changing the layout

To change the default layout, select the options menu > Display density and select the desired option:

  • Default: The default view will show all the possible actions in the window.

  • Comfortable: This view will space out the elements to make for a less compact viewing experience.

  • Compact: This view will reduce spacing to enable you to view more elements in one window.

Load flows in a new tab

You can carry out bulk actions such as loading in a new tab using the checkboxes.

  1. Select the flow or flows using the checkboxes.
    (info) You can use the checkbox in the top left to select all flows (info)

  2. Click the arrow that appears next to the global checkbox.

  3. Go to Load flows in new tabs.

  4. Each Flow will appear in its own tab.
