What permissions do I need?

Users with the Activeboards (manage) or the User resources permissions can create new Activeboards (more about permissions here). Having only the View level of the Activeboards permission does not allow you to create new Activeboards.

Creating your Activeboard

No existing Activeboards

If you do not have an Activeboard in your domain, you will see a welcome screen after selecting Activeboards in the navigation pane. Enter the required Title and Description, thenselect Create activeboard.

Create your own Activeboard following the process below:

After accessing the Activeboards area, activate the Edit mode.

Click the + icon at the top left area.

Access the Session manager by clicking on the current Activeboard name and then click on New Activeboard.

Enter a Title and an optional Description for the new Activeboard.

Click Apply.

Finding your Activeboard

The new Activeboard will appear in the Activeboard manager (select the folder icon at the top left corner to access it) and in the Session manager (click the current Activeboard name).

Populating your Activeboard

You can now proceed to create widgets and inputs in your Activeboard and feed them with data.
