How does it work in the search window?
Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the To IPv6 (translated) operation. You need to specify one argument:
Argument | Data type |
---|---|
IPv4 to convert mandatory | ip |
The data type of the values in the new column is ip6.
Example
In the demosiem.logtrust.ecommerceweb.dataactivity
table, we want to transform the IPv4 addresses in the clientIpAddress column numbers in the responseLength column into IP addresses, and then into IPv4-translated mapped IPv6 addresses. To do it, click Create column and select the To IPv6 (translated) operation. The arguments needed are:
...
Use the operator select
... as
... and add the operation syntax to create the new column. These are the valid formats of the To IPv6 (translated) operation:
translated(ip)
Example
You can copy the following LINQ script and try the above example on the demosiem.logtrust.ecommerceweb.dataactivity
table.

from demosiem.logtrust.ecommerceweb.dataactivity select ip4(responseLength) as IP, translated(clientIpAddressIP) as IPv6translated |
