To use this feature you need two different permissions:
View level of the Finders permissions permission. This permission is required to access a search, which is necessary to create a union table.
The Custom tables permissions permission. This permission is required to enable the custom table options in the toolbar menu of the search window.

Go to Data Searchsearch and open the data table whose data you want to merge with your custom table.
Click the option menu in the right-hand side of the toolbar and select New → Custom table → Union.
Choose the custom table you want to merge with the current query.
Those column names of the custom table matching the ones in the query will be automatically merged. The rest of them will appear as not assigned. Assign them using the drop-downs.
Optionally, you can create more columns selecting New field. Enter the new field name and then drag the required field from the Current query fields area.
Click Save once you finish. |
