How can I get this application?
The application must be activated in your domain via the Applications Gallery, otherwise you will not see the application in the navigation pane. See Applications gallery to know more.

What permissions do I need?
What you will see in this view is permissions dependent. You will need alert configurationpermissions to have access to this app. Users with View permissions will be able to access in view mode, whereas users with Manage permissions will have full access.
To access the Administration → Alert Configuration area you need to have a role with the Manage version of the Alert configuration permission.
Additionally, you need to have alerts assigned (see Assign resources to a role). You will only see alert definitions for those alerts assigned and allowing only the interaction level specified for them. In other words, the permissions grants theoretical access to alerts while assigning a specific alert grants the actual access.

Alert management overviewThe Alert Management view is the default tab that will show when you open the add-on. Here you have a table with an overview of all the alerts in your domain. The alerts are color-coded according to active/inactive status and are sorted according to their kind and category. In addition, you can view their subcategory, owner, creation date, and all active policies associated. You can also filter for a certain alert by using the Search functionality at the left-hand side. Create an alertUse the New Alert button to the right of the screen to open the New Alert Definitiontab. View/edit alert definitionIn the Actions column, click the View/edit icon and the Alert Editortab will appear.
New Alert DefinitionIn this tab, you can create new alerts that will then appear in the main table, where you will view the category, subcategory, kind taken from here.

Alert EditorSelecting the View/edit icon in the Actions column will show a new tab, where you can edit the details you wish.
