Activeboards: performance optimization feature for Activeboards
You have different options to configure the way your Activeboard fetches data based on your data availability and performance needs. The default value is Lazy, which loads data as soon as widgets enter the screen and is the perfect balance between performance and data availability. Learn more here.
Activeboards: data loading feature for widgets
The very same feature described above is also available for individual widgets, which allows you to customize the data loading paradigm even more and prioritize the data that matters most to you. Learn more here.
Activeboards: new marker setting for specific widgets
A new markers setting has been added to line, area, and stacked area widgets. This setting makes the data points of a specific series visible on the chart to be able to observe their exact position. Learn more in area chart, line chart, and stacked area chart.
Improvements
Activeboards: action-prompting views redesigned
The views that require additional actions to show Activeboards or widgets on the screen have been redesigned for consistency and clarity on the steps to follow. These views are the first-time access with and without creation permissions, access without having any Activeboard shared with you, access without having a default Activeboard selected, or an empty Activeboard without widgets.
Activeboards: stacking setting relocated
The setting to visualize the stacks as percentages instead of absolute values has been relocated within a separate setting. It is now included within the Plot options instead of the Axis properties. Learn more in stacked area chart and stacked column chart.
Activeboards: improved aggregation tasks form
The aggregation task form has been improved for a more user-friendly experience. Some of the features are the information about the maximum characters allowed, a field validation check, or the implementation of the correct terminology. Learn more here.
Scheduled tasks: email layout revamped
The received email with the result of the scheduled task now follows the brand standards. The file name will be adapted as well in the next release. Learn more here.
Scheduled tasks: date format standardization
In the Next execution column, the date format has been adapted to show 4 digits instead of 2. Learn more here.
Scheduled tasks: token removed
The authentication token is now automatically retrieved, making the process seamless and uncomplicated. Learn more here.
Bug Fixes
Activeboards: the PDF export has been fixed, showing all widgets and descriptions correctly without being cropped or cut off.
Activeboards: the PDF export now shows correctly the select inputs that present multiple selection.
Activeboards: the stacking percentage setting in stacked widgets have been fixed and it works correctly once again.
Scheduled tasks: the yearly periodicity has been fixed to show the warning about months without 31 days only when it actually applies.
Scheduled tasks: spaces are no longer automatically added to the beginning and end of the name.
Scheduled tasks: typos and other errors in the different fields have been fixed.
Scheduled tasks: the scheduled tasks list has been fixed, and it’s now refreshed when a new one is created.
