Other data collection methods

Intermediary technologies can be used to collect events from an event source, apply the Devo tags, and forward them securely to Devo.

• You can use an HTTP endpoint to direct events or streams of events to a Devo endpoint.
• Logstash is an open-source tool designed specifically to collect and forward log data. It can be particularly useful for collecting records from tables in JDBC-enabled databases and forwarding them to a Devo Relay.
