What is a punch card widget?
The punch card widget uses circles to represent values over time for a set of parameters. The circle diameters are proportional to the value represented.
Configuration options
The following table lists the configuration options of this widget:
| Widget title | Enter a title for the widget |
|---|---|
| Widget description | Enter a description of the widget |
| Widget size | Choose the size of the widget window |
| Time Range | The period of data you want to analyze. Time range goes from 1 hour to 1 year |
| Group by | Use this option to select the grouping. Enter the required multiplier number in the left field and the time range in the right one (minutes, hours or days) |
| Actions | Add the values of the grouping to the widget |
| Field to show | Select one of the available aggregated values |
Example
The below widget is a sample of the monitoring ISP response time.
- Time Range - 1 month
- Group by - 1 day
- Field to show - Average (responseTime)
Hints
- Global Size
- If you switch the toggle off, the size of each circle is related to each ISP.
- If you switch the toggle on, the size of each circle is related to all ISP.
- Hover the mouse over each circle to see its value.
