Platform 7.18.0

This release sees the introduction of a new scheduling tool to the Devo platform. The Activeboard Report Scheduler allows you to easily schedule Activeboard PDF reports. Simply select the Activeboard you want to schedule, choose the frequency, and select the recipients.

  • You can now schedule the execution of an Activeboard periodically in a future time, so that once executed, the Activeboard is automatically saved as a PDF and sent by email to a list of recipients. Learn more here.

 

  • Activeboards API has been enriched to offer scheduled reports PDF functionality. Learn more here.

  • A new role permission has been added to allow the user to schedule the execution of Activeboards. Learn more here.

Activeboards → Query optimization

  • The execution of some queries can be optimized by creating the corresponding aggregation task in advance.

  • You can now create the aggregation task directly from the Activeboards page in two different ways:

    • Via the blue rocket icon, which replaces the orange warning triangle, in the top-right corner of the widget.

  • Via the “Create aggregation task” option which is visible when a widget has an optimizable query for which the corresponding aggregation task doesn’t yet exist.
