To IPv6 mapped (mapped)
Description
Converts an IPv4 address into an IPv4-mapped IPv6 address.
How does it work in the search window?
Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the To IPv6 (mapped) operation. You need to specify one argument:

IPv4 to convert mandatory | ip |
The data type of the values in the new column is ip6.
Example
In the siem.logtrust.web.activity
table, we want to transform we want to transform the numbers in the responseLength column into IP addresses, and then into IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. To do it, click Create column and select the To IPv4 operation. The arguments needed are:
Integer to convert - responseLength column

IPv4 to convert - clientIpAddress column

How does it work in LINQ?
Use the operator select
... as
... and add the operation syntax to create the new column. These are the valid formats of the To IPv6 (mapped) operation:
mapped(ip)
