Working with links
You need links to join the units in your Flow and make the events flow in the required direction. This article explains the different actions you can perform with links.
Create a link
To create a link between 2 units, simply click the required output port of a unit, and drag it to the input port of another unit in the canvas.
Alternatively, select the Link Manager to assign to the target ports. For each output port, select an available input port to assign it to:
You can drag and drop links when there are various to a particular port to change the order.
Delete a link
To delete a link between two units, just click it and select the X icon that appears.
Change the order of multiple links
When there is more than a single link coming out from the same output port, the order of the links may matter. In this situation, the order of the links indicates the order in which the output unit will receive the events. This is important because you may want to receive certain events going through that port in a specific unit before sending them to another one.
By default, the order of the links corresponds to the creation order. You can check the order of the links hovering over them; you will see a number that indicates it, as you can see in the example below.
To change the order of a link in this situation, click it and hover over the arrows icon that appears. You will see an up and down arrow icon. Click the up arrow to send the link to the first position, and the down arrow to send it to the last position. In the example below, we are sending the selected link, which is originally in the first position, to the last one.
Check the events that go through a link
You can click the magnifying glass icon that appears after clicking a link to open the events window at the bottom area and check the events that go through that link. Learn more about this in the Events window article.
