addFieldInJSON

This operator adds a new field to the JSON object.

Operator Usage in Easy Mode

  1. Click + on the parent node.
  2. Enter the Add field in Jsonoperator in the search field and select the operator from the Results to open the operator form.
  3. In the Input Table drop-down, enter or select a table from which to source the data.
  4. In the Json Column field, choose the column that contains the JSON object.
  5. In the Path field, enter the field path to be added to the JSON object.
  6. In the Field Value field, choose the value of the provided field.
  7. Click Run to view the result.
  8. Click Cancel to discard the operator form.

Usage Details

Text LQL Command addFieldInJson(inputTable: TableReference, jsonColumn: ColumnReference, path: String, fieldValue: ColumnReference)

Input Parameters:

inputTable(TableReference): The table containing the data to run this operator on.
jsonColumn(ColumnReference): The column that contains JSON object.
path(String): Field path to be added to JSON object.
fieldValue(ColumnReference): Value of the provided field.

Output
This operator will add a new key-value pair to the existing JSON object.
