Events window

The events window is where you can check a log of all the events that your Flow generates or processes. It is really useful to track specific sets of events or check if your Flow is properly working. The events window appears at the bottom of the Flow canvas.

Open the events window

You can open the events window to check events generated or processed by a unit, events that go through an input or output port, or events that go through a specific link in your Flow.

Once you open the events window to check the events going through a specific element of your Flow, the window will remain open until you close it. You can keep checking the events of other elements, and they will be opened as separated tabs in the events window. Moreover, a tab named All Events will always appear when you open multiple tabs, which lists the events in all the tabs opened in the window.

These are the 3 ways of accessing the events window in your Flow:

Check unit events

To open the events window and check the events generated or processed by a unit in your Flow, click the required unit, open the options menu in the middle and then select the magnifying glass icon.

A new tab with the name of the unit will appear in the events window. The number of events generated or processed by that unit will appear next to its name.

Check port events

To open the events window and check the events that go trough an input or output port of one of your Flow units, hover over the port and select the magnifying glass icon.

A new tab with the name of the port will appear in the events window. The number of events that go through that port will appear next to its name.

Check link events

To open the events window and check the events that go through a specific link in your Flow, click the required link and then select the magnifying glass icon.

A new tab with the name of the units connected by the link will appear in the events window, separated by an arrow that indicates the direction of the events. The number of events that go through the link will appear next to the tab name.

Working in the events window

As said above, the events window opens when you select the magnifying glass icon that appears when you click in one of the elements of your Flow. The events generated or processed by each element are displayed in individual tabs. In each of the tabs. including the All events tab, you can see two numbers next to the tab name. The first number indicates the current number of events displayed in the tab. The second one shows the total number of events generated or processed by that element, including the ones that have been removed from the list.

You can close a tab clicking the X icon at its right corner. Also, you can resize the event columns as required clicking the dots icon

Use the buttons at the top right corner of the events window to perform the following actions:
