Purpose

Palo Alto Networks' firewalls safely enable applications and prevent modern threats by inspecting all traffic and tying it to the user, regardless of location or device type. With this Activeboard you will able to:

  • Align security with your key business initiatives and reduce response times to incidents with this Activeboard.

  • Discover unknown threats, and streamline security network deployment.

  • Monitor threats by severity, type, category, and threat ID.

Pre-requisites

To use the Palo Alto Networks Threats Overview Activeboard, you must have the following data sources available on your domain:

Open Palo Alto Activeboard

Once you have installed the application, you can access the Activeboard in the following ways

Go to Exchange in the navigation pane and look for the Activeboard you want to open. Click Open.

Go to Activeboards in the navigation pane and use the filter to open the Activeboard you downloaded.

Exploring the Activeboard

When opening the Palo Alto Networks Threats Overview the following widgets with this info display:

  • Filter by Source IP Address

  • Filter by Destination IP Address

  • Filter by Severity

  • Threats Detected

  • Threats Over Time

  • Threats Detected by Severity

  • Threats Detected by Type

  • Threat Detected by Threat Category

  • Threats Detected by Threat ID

  • Top Threats
