This operator extracts the Field from a JSON object.

Operator Usage in Easy Mode

  1. Click + on the parent node.
  2. Enter the Extract field in Jsonoperator in the search field and select the operator from the Results to open the operator form.
  3. In the Input Table drop-down, enter or select a table from which to source the data.
  4. In the Json Column field, choose the column that contains the JSON object.
  5. In the Path field, enter the field path that needs to be extracted from the JSON object.
  6. Click Run to view the result.
  7. Click Cancel to discard the operator form.

Usage Details

Text LQL Command extractFieldInJson(inputTable: TableReference, jsonColumn: ColumnReference, path: String)

Input Parameters:

inputTable(TableReference): The table containing the data to run this operator on.
jsonColumn(ColumnReference): The column that contains JSON object.
path(String): Field path that needs to be extracted from JSON object.

Output
This operator will extract the field from the existing JSON object.
