In Devo, go to Administration → Relays and ELBs → Relays. Click the ellipsis button of the relay you want to configure and select Edit.

Open the Relay Output tab.

The following table describes the available options for configuring your relay:

Memory buffer size (MB)	Maximum size of the memory buffer that stores events that, for whatever reason, could not be sent. If this buffer fills up, any remaining data will be stored in the disk buffer. The default value is 128 MB. Maximum memory buffer size If you specify a value that is higher than the maximum size allowed for your machine, you will get a warning message and Devo will automatically fill this field with your maximum value allowed. Disk buffer size (MB)	Maximum size of the disk buffer that stores overflow events when the memory buffer is full. If this memory is also full, the oldest events will be discarded. The default value is 128 MB. Learn more about this in Relay buffers.
Socket timeout (seconds)	The number of seconds the output socket will remain open after sending the last event. You may want to enter a long time when, for example, you know new events will arrive soon. This option is checked by default.
Socket Keep Alive	Select this option if you want to receive a signal to check that the output socket is operating properly.
TCP socket buffer size (kB)	Enter the size of the TCP output socket from the relay to Devo. Note that 0 means the default OS value. The default value is 128 kB.
Compression	Choose the required compression type (none or GZIP). The default value is none. Restrict compression usage Compression should only be activated when there's a network problem detected (limited bandwidth). Please take into account that activating compression may generate congestion in the relay, which can lead to data loss. When enabling compression, make sure that the EPS received in Devo does not decrease.

Click Save.
