Overview

Permalinks are URL links that provide direct access to shared dashboards. For more information about permalinks and how to create them, see the Configuring and sharing dashboards article.

In this tab of the Administration → Data management area, you can perform the tasks described below.

What permissions do I need?

In order to access the Permalinks tab, you need to have a role with view or management permissions on Domain permalinks (view/manage all the permalinks defined in the domain) or My permalinks (view/manage only the permalinks you create). Go to Administration → Roles → Permissions to manage the permissions of your role.

Learn more about role permissions in this article.

Filter permalinks

This tab lists the injections set up by yourself, or the ones that have been created in the domain. To switch between your permalinks and the ones in the domain, click the button above the table, on the top left. Note that this selector will only appear if your role has the Domain permalinks permission.

If you think you might not be seeing the most recent data, you can click the Refresh button above the table, on the top right.

You can filter specific content in the table using the column filters. Click the filter of the desired column and write the desired text. The filter icon will turn green and the table will show only those permalinks with that string in that column. To remove the filter, simply delete the text.

Manage permalinks

To manage a permalink, place the cursor over the desired permalink row to highlight it and click the ellipsis icon that appears at the end of the row. You can access the following options:

More info

Shows the date range configured to be displayed when accessing the dashboard using this permalink, as well as the user who created it.

Delete

Delete the permalink. The shared link will become obsolete but the dashboard will be unaffected.

For more information about permalinks, see the Configuring and sharing dashboards article.
