New features

Alerts

  • From this release on, all alerts are editable from the Web and the Alerts API regardless of where the alert was created. The Edit option is available for both types of alerts.

  • Also, the alert query can now be edited directly either from the alert definition window or in the Data Search area as usual. This can be done both in alerts created through the Web or the Alerts API.

  • Users are now allowed to modify the source table of the alert query, regardless of where the alert was defined.

  • Two new columns have been added to the alert configuration table: Creation date and Alert type.

  • We've added a new clone operation that opens a pop-up window with the alert definition in edit mode. You can change any field value to define a new alert.

  • You can now create alert annotations in bulk.

  • In order to manage all the alerts in the same way, alerts defined on the web are now managed internally through the API.

  • In the Alerts API, when creating an alert, the description parameter is no longer mandatory.

  • Alerts API do not allow expressions in “every” clause.

  • For compatibility reasons, sourceLinqQuery has been added to old alerts created from the Web.

  • Slight changes to the URL format in Data Search.

  • There are now more accurate error messages when creating or updating alerts.

Injections

  • We've added a new column to the injection table: Update date.

  • The Update date field is now visible in the injection window.

Activeboards

  • Selecting Go to query now opens the query in a new tab in the Data search window.

Improvements

Alerts

  • We've improved the dropdown fields in the alert type form so that they now display the same set of values, regardless of the alert type.

  • The informative text advising on which placeholder variables can be added to the Summary and Description fields has been improved.

  • We've reworded the warning messages for when you try to delete items in the alert configuration.

  • We've made improvements to the warning message that is displayed when you edit an alert and that edit changes from an "Alert without subquery“ to an “Alert with subquery“, and viceversa.

  • We've improved the UI for when you try to create an alert with a query that isn't allowed for the selected alert type.

  • We've improved the UI for when you try to edit an alert corresponding to an alert type with the column drag and drop selection, and the edit isn't compatible with the drag and drop columns selected in the alert definition.

  • We've improved the button to add a new header when in the new delivery method window for the HTTP-JSON method.

Free text query

  • We've added an error message for when you try to use a table that doesn't exist.

Bug fixes

  • In Activeboards, it was difficult to select the vertical scroll bar because of its narrowness.

  • When editing the Description field of an injection, the text was displayed with a delay.
