Share a query

You can share the definition of a query with users from your domain or a different one. The query will appear in the Social Intelligence area of the application, where the users you shared the query with can check it.

Here's how to share your queries from the search window:

1. After querying the data as needed, select Additional tools → Current query → Share with... in the search window toolbar. The Share with... window opens.

   

   The following table describes the fields in the window:

   Name	Enter a name for the query.
   Description	Enter a description of the query.
   Path / Complete Tree	Choose Path to share only the current query or Complete Tree to share the whole search. Learn more about search paths and how to check them here.
   Category	Select the category of the query.
   Share with	Choose the sharing level: Public - Shares the query with all Devo users, regardless of domain or company. Domain - Shares the query with a specific domain and all users in that domain will be able to access the query. After selecting this option, you need the type the desired domain.  User - Shares the query with a specific user. After selecting this option, you need to type the desired user or email address.
   Tags	Add tags to easily find the query in the Social Intelligence area.

2. Click Share. The query will appear in the Social Intelligence area.
