AI Assist

AI Assist is a beta application available only to invited users. The functionality may change substantially before release.

Purpose

The AI Assist application uses AI to interact with prompts and Devo. The AI can

• Craft queries from a usecase.

• Interpret query results.

• Recommend alert rules.

• Read and interpret triggered alerts.

• Recommend activeboard widgets that visualize queries.

• Get query explanations.

Usage

1. Open the application.

2. Click a suggested prompt or enter your own prompt.

There is no activity history feature. When AI Assist modifies an alert rule, it is logged as an action taken by the user.

Permissions

To allow a role to use AI Assist, make the application “Available” in the role.

Once the user has accessed AI Assist, the AI will have the same permissions as the user.

The AI Assist application expects the user to have a role with these permissions:

• Activeboards Manage

• Alert Configuration Manage

• Data Search Finders Manage

AI Assist uses data search permissions, not alert permissions, to access information about triggered alerts.
