Cloud Collector Application

Overview

This application is only available in certain domains and will be made available to all clients in the near future. Bear in mind that the version available to you may be a Beta version and therefore some features may not yet be accessible.

Instead of going through the Devo support team for details on cloud collectors, Devo provides the Cloud Collector Application, where you can see all the collectors installed in your domain in one place.

The Cloud Collector Application allows customers to perform user, domain, secrets, and collector management for a speedy onboarding process as well as additional security and peace of mind.

To start using the Cloud Collector application:

  • The application must be activated in your domain via the Applications Gallery, otherwise you will not see the application in the navigation pane. If you don’t see the application in your gallery, contact your domain Admin or reach us. See Applications gallery to know more.

  • Your role needs to have this application assigned, otherwise you will not see the application in the navigation pane. See Assign resources to a role to know more.

  • Your domain must be initialized.

Initializing your domain

If your domain is not enabled, you will be asked to provide:

  • Devo entry point URL (this URL must be the same as a Syslog Event Load Balancer).

  • Devo entry point port (this port must be the same as your Event Load Balancer’s port).

  • Private key

  • Chain CA

  • Write certificate

If you need help accessing this data, contact the Devo support team.

If you have Admin level permissions, you can download these resources in the Administration areas described below.

Select Submit to send the credentials and use the Cloud Collector application.
