SHA512 hash function (sha512)
Description
Adds a new column that returns the SHA512 hash as a byte array of the given string.
How does it work in the search window?
Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the SHA512 hash function operation. You need to specify one argument:

The data type of the values in the new column is boxar(int1).
Example
We want to transform the value in the strings column into SHA512 hashes. To do it, we will create a new column using the SHA512 hash function operation. Let's call the new column sha512Hash.
The arguments needed to create the new column are:
String - strings column
Click Create column and you will see the following result:
How does it work in LINQ?
Use the operator select
... as
... and add the operation syntax to create the new column. This is the syntax for the SHA512 hash function operation:
sha512(string)
