Manage sending policies
Sending policies dictate how to send alerts, to whom, when, and how often. The how to send and to whom of the policy is specified by the delivery methods that are selected for the policy. Therefore, in order to create a sending policy, you must have at least one delivery method already available. The how often is optional and is determined by the anti-flooding policy selected for the policy.
Sending policies are managed in the Administration → Alert configuration area, in the Alert Policies top tab, inside the Sending Policy left tab.
Create a sending policy
Click the New button at the top right and the Sending Policy window opens. Introduce the required settings and click Save. Pay special attention to Delivery types and Delivery methods, for you must select at least one combination and click Add.
