Devo Exchange is a platform where Devo makes available applications and other types of content to all domains. Administrators or users can visit it to see what content they would like to add to their domain.

Exchange is an out-of-the-box feature. It is available immediately without any special installation or configuration for all users by default. It is Devo's central repository for use cases discovery and fast value generation. The applications you need for your use case can be installed directly from Exchange allowing you to quickly get value from them.

Content

The types of content Devo has made available in Exchange are:

  • Applications

  • Activeboards

  • Lookups

  • Alert packs

  • Content packs

One way to find the content you are interested in is by clicking on the All tag and then selecting the type of content.

For example, if you are a Web Security Administrator interested in having full visibility of your firewall traffic, you may want to install one of the firewall applications or Activeboards.

Accessing Exchange

The Exchange option is located in the navigation pane on the left side of the screen.

Each content is displayed on a card.

Categories

Under Popular Categories, there is a horizontal list of technologies and category tags that can filter the cards displayed. For example, if you are an administrator in charge of monitoring your website users login activities, and want to find authentication-related applications and content, then from the Popular Categories horizontal menu click Authentication.

The list of cards related to Authentication will display.

Clicking on the All tag will display all cards available in Exchange. When the Discover tag is selected, cards are displayed in sections.

Browsing

When you enter the marketplace the Discover tag is highlighted and the page shows rows of cards grouped in the following sections:

  • Highlights banner & the Recommended by Devo section, display the most relevant content that Devo is recommending for you.

  • Trending contents are those that are most visited.

  • New & Noteworthy contents are those most recently added to Exchange.

  • Popular contents are those most installed.

On the top right side of the card, you can see what type of card it is: Devo Application, Activeboard, etc. The name of the content appears at the bottom part of the card. If the content has already been installed in your domain, it will show the word Installed. Categories are also there to help users find the App, Activeboards, or other cards more easily.

Search

In Exchange, there is a search box at the top to search for content. You type the category you are searching for, such as Alerts. Three drop-downs appear to help you narrow further your search: Categories, Technologies, and Creator.

Examples of categories are authentication, monitoring, and machine learning.

An example of technology is a firewall.

Below it will provide links to the number of applications, alert libraries, Activeboards, and content packs it has found.
