Platform 8.2.15
New features
Roles → New applications permission
We’ve added a new role permission for non-reseller domains. It is “Applications → Built-in applications preferences at domain level” and allows users to manage application preferences at a domain level.
Sensitive data arrangement
The siem.logtrust.web.activity table stores some sensitive data. In the 8.1.0 release all “param” column values in the siem.logtrust.web.activity table were hidden (replaced by “***”). However, as not all the data is sensitive and may be useful to perform audit operations, in this release, we’ve come to a new compromise. We now only hide those parameters coming from requests with url-encoded content and using http verbs other than GET.
Improvements
Data upload → Dropbox option removed
In the Data upload section we’ve removed the option to upload the log file from Dropbox. This was mainly due to a lack of user adoption and the restriction of Dropbox access in many companies.
Credentials (X.509 certificates) → New mark for expired certificates
We’ve improved the user interaction by adding a new mark for all expired certificates. It is a warning symbol next to the expiration date with the text “Expired”. Note that expired certificates can’t be downloaded and display the “---” value in all columns except name and date.
