New features

Data search - Subqueries

  • Subqueries can now be run from Data search. Previously they could only be run using the Query API.

Please note: In an overabundance of caution during the Holiday Season, the Product Team has decided to launch Subqueries in a disabled state. A more measured deployment is being used for this feature in order to continuously monitor and make sure there are no performance degradations when used in your environments. Deployment will start with small batches of environments and expand to all clients. If you want Subqueries enabled in your environment in the first few waves, please open a Support Ticket.

Data search - New complex type operations

  • array: an array is a collection of sorted elements of any type (repeated or not).

  • set: a set is a collection of unique (non-repeated) elements of any type whose order is indifferent.

  • map: a map is a collection of key-value pairs whose order is indifferent.

The list of new operations is as follows (some are existing operations with enhanced options):

Improvements

The Users page is now more responsive, with a reduction in the time taken to create and upload a user’s information.

  • When uploading user information, requesting said info has been split in two lighter requests: one for the User information tab data and another one for the Saved access details tab data.

  • When creating a user, the request has also been improved in processing times and the Saved access details tab removed.

Bug fixes

  • In Data search, in the Histogram area the drop down corresponding to the “Events per (5 mins)” field seemed to be empty as the background color was the same as the values.
