What is an availability timeline widget?
The availability timeline widget displays events during specific intervals shown chronologically along a line, indicating the availability and unavailability periods for each data group. The widget is designed to provide a broad overview of a sequence of events in time.
Configuration options
The following table lists the configuration options of this widget:
Widget title | Enter a title for the widget |
---|---|
Widget description | Enter a description of the widget |
Widget size | Choose the size of the widget window |
Time Range | The period of data you want to analyze. Time range goes from 1 hour to 1 year |
Group by | Use this option to select the grouping. Enter the required multiplier number in the left field and the time range in the right one (minutes, hours or days).

Timeline title | Enter a title for the availability timeline |
Available data title | Enter a title for the available data (shown in green) |
Not available data title | Enter a title for the not available data (shown in red) |
Availability threshold | Select a limit for the number of events you want to display as available. E.g. if you enter 20, data groups with less than 20 events will appear in red (not available data) |
Actions | Add the values of the grouping to the widget |
Field to show | Select one of the available aggregated values |
Example
The below widget is a sample of monitoring a firewall activity by country with the following configuration:
- Time Range - 6 hours
- Group by - 5 min
- Field to show - Count
