What is a monitoring widget?
The monitoring widget controls the data by showing its status through a traffic lights system.
You can set the monitoring limits and period required to adapt it to your specific needs.
Configuration options
The following table lists the configuration options of this widget:
Widget title | Enter a title for the widget |
---|---|
Widget description | Enter a description of the widget |
Widget size | Choose the size of the widget window |
Get value for last period of | The period when you want to perform the monitoring |
Actions | Add the values of the grouping to the widget. If you select All, the widget will show one signal for each value |
Field to show | Select one of the available aggregated values |
Unit of measurement | Enter the required unit of measurement |
Result format | Choose the required data format |
Show result | Select ON to show the value added in Actions |
Upper limit | Define the upper monitoring value |
Lower limit | Define the lower monitoring value |
Reverse scale | Select ON to reverse the values set in the scale. Values will be updated in the example shown at the right. |
Example
The widget below is a sample of the monitoring ISP response time with the following configuration:
- Time Range - 1 day
- Field to show - Average (responseTime)
- Upper limit / Lower limit
- Green - Values under 33
- Yellow - Values between 33 and 66
- Red - Values above 66

- Move the mouse over the widget to obtain the average (responseTime) of the last day.
